Theft of firearms from a Decatur business
According to an article published on 8 June 2026, a pawn shop in Decatur was the target of a burglary. Rocketcitynow reports that 16 guns were stolen during the incident.
Following the theft, a pursuit occurred on Interstate 65, which resulted in an arrest and the recovery of the stolen firearms. Additionally, CBS42 reports that a man from Oakman has been indicted in connection with the burglary of the Decatur business.
