Police Link Two East Belfast Burglaries in Ongoing Investigation

Detectives in East Belfast are investigating a link between two recent burglaries that occurred in the area. The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) believes that the same perpetrators may be responsible for both break-ins, given the similarities in execution and timing.

The incidents, which took place in residential neighborhoods in East Belfast, involved unauthorized entry and the theft of personal items. Forensics teams have examined both sites, and police are currently reviewing neighborhood security feeds in an effort to identify suspects or any suspicious vehicles observed in the vicinity.

“We are investigating a definite link between these two occurrences,” a PSNI spokesperson confirmed. “We want to reassure the public that patrols have been increased, and we advise everyone to secure their properties. We are appealing to anyone who saw anything unusual in East Belfast on or around February 6 to contact us.”
