Birmingham Man Charged After Attempted Robbery and Racial Harassment at Local Chip Shop

BIRMINGHAM — A Birmingham man has been formally charged by police following a disturbing incident involving an attempted robbery and targeted racial harassment at a local chip shop.

The incident, which took place in late October 2024, unfolded when a suspect entered the chip shop, allegedly demanding money while directing racially abusive language towards the staff.
