Burglar in workman disguise steals cash from Bradford pub

Police are investigating after a burglar disguised as a workman stole cash from a Bradford public house on New Year's Eve. The brazen theft occurred on Wednesday, 31st December 2025, during normal business hours.

The suspect, dressed in typical workman clothing to blend in with ongoing maintenance staff or nearby construction workers, walked through the pub's main areas. Using the disguise to avoid suspicion, the individual managed to gain access to staff-only areas, locate a sum of cash, and walk out of the premises unnoticed.

West Yorkshire Police are reviewing CCTV footage from the establishment and surrounding streets. They are urging other businesses in the area to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity involving individuals who may be using uniforms or high-visibility clothing as a cover for criminal acts.
