Prolific Offender Jailed After Smashing Slot Machines in Bradford Casino Rampage

A wanted robber who carried out a destructive rampage at a Bradford city centre casino has been sentenced to prison. Aron Marin, 22, was handed a 40-month custodial sentence at Bradford Crown Court following a string of offenses, culminating in a violent disturbance at the Admiral Casino on Westgate.

Seven Minutes of Destruction

The court heard that in September 2025, Marin and a group of associates refused to leave the Westgate casino when requested by staff. In response, they embarked on a seven-minute wrecking spree, smashing at least ten electronic slot machines. The damage caused to the venue's machines ran into thousands of pounds, causing terror among the staff and customers present.

Jailed After Years on the Run

At the time of his arrest in October 2025, Marin had been wanted on an outstanding warrant for nearly five years. The 40-month total sentence handed down by the judge incorporates 30 months for a robbery committed as a youth in 2019, an eight-month consecutive term for the criminal damage at the casino, and a further two months for a restaurant burglary from 2020. He was also penalized for shoplifting £900 worth of designer glasses frames from Specsavers in Dewsbury.
