Man Arrested Following Early-Hours Break-In at Shipley Jewellery Store
A 43-year-old man from Keighley has been arrested in connection with a break-in at a well-known jewellery shop in the Bradford district. The incident took place at Evans Jewellers, located on Bingley Road near the historic village of Saltaire in Shipley.
Early Morning Raid
According to West Yorkshire Police, the burglary occurred in the early hours of Sunday, November 16, 2025, with officers believing the break-in took place between 4:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Police were subsequently alerted to the scene at around 8:45 a.m. that morning.
Suspect Detained for Multiple Offenses
Following enquiries, the suspect in his 40s was arrested not only for the commercial burglary at the jewellery store but also on suspicion of a separate break-in and theft from a grocery store in Shipley that occurred the previous day (Saturday, November 15). The investigation remains active as officers work to determine the full extent of the goods stolen from the properties.
