Police Investigate Ram Raid in Corby Involving Six Suspects

Northamptonshire Police are appealing for information after a commercial premises in Corby was targeted in a highly coordinated, destructive ram raid involving six suspects.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 AM on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Officers arrived at the scene to find significant structural damage to the storefront. Investigators established that the gang used a heavy vehicle, believed to be a stolen 4x4 or commercial van, to repeatedly reverse into the building's security shutters and shatter the glass frontage.

Rapid Theft and Escape

Once a breach was created, six masked men entered the premises. The group worked with speed and coordination, targeting specific high-value items, including designer retail stock and cash registers. The entire raid lasted under three minutes before the suspects piled back into a second getaway vehicle and sped away, leaving the ram vehicle abandoned at the scene.

A detective heading the investigation commented: "This was a brazen and destructive raid. We are currently reviewing CCTV from the area and tracing the history of the vehicles involved. We believe at least six individuals were directly participating in the crime."

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed suspicious vehicle movements in Corby or who has dashcam footage from the surrounding roads between 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM to contact them immediately on 101, referencing the Corby ram raid investigation.
