Arrests and Ongoing Hunt for Balaclava-Clad Men After Violent Darlington Aggravated Burglary

Police in Darlington are continuing to search for four balaclava-clad men linked to a violent aggravated burglary that took place on a residential street, leaving a male victim in the hospital with injuries.

The incident, which occurred in late September 2025, sparked a major response from Durham Constabulary. According to police reports, a group of masked men forced their way into a home, threatening the occupants. A male resident sustained injuries during the confrontation and required medical treatment at a local hospital.

Arrests and Court Appearances

As the investigation progressed over the subsequent months, officers made significant breakthroughs. A 27-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the incident in November 2025. Following further inquiries, a Darlington man was charged and subsequently appeared in court accused of aggravated burglary in February 2026.

Despite these developments, police have confirmed that the four primary suspects who entered the property wearing balaclavas remain at large. An active search is ongoing, and investigators are releasing descriptions to the public to aid in their capture.
