Two Vandals Caught on CCTV Smashing Glasgow Salon Windows in Cruel Act

A local Glasgow salon has been left with a hefty repair bill after two vandals were caught on security cameras deliberately smashing its storefront windows in what has been described as a cruel act of wilful damage.

The incident occurred at the popular Hair by Hanlon salon, located on Great Western Road, on Saturday, June 6, starting at approximately 10:30 PM. CCTV footage captured a hooded individual approaching the business with his back turned to the window before a second young man appeared. The first suspect then began forcefully kicking the glass panel until it shattered.

In a disturbing turn of events, the pair returned approximately 15 minutes later to smash a second window before fleeing the scene. Salon owner Billy Hanlon expressed his deep disappointment and confusion over the attack, noting there was no apparent reason for his business to be targeted. He confirmed that the footage has been handed over to Police Scotland to assist with their investigation, and urged anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has relevant information to come forward.
