Over £100k Worth of Boilers Stolen in Pre-Planned Christmas Heist at Hillington Park

A sophisticated, "pre-planned robbery" at Hillington Park in Glasgow over the Christmas holiday period has left a business facing losses of approximately £100,000 after a large consignment of boilers was stolen.

Detectives believe the high-value commercial theft was carefully coordinated to take advantage of the quiet holiday shutdown. The thieves targeted a storage facility or depot within the busy industrial estate on Christmas Day (December 25), successfully loading and transporting a significant number of commercial boilers.

Given the size and weight of the stolen items, it is highly likely that a large vehicle or multiple transport runs were required to move the goods. Police are reviewing security footage from Hillington Park and surrounding road networks to identify vehicles of interest and have appealed to the public and local businesses for any dashcam or CCTV footage recorded in the area over the Christmas period.
