Hunt for masked raider after jewellery and cash stolen in Inverness

Police Scotland have launched an urgent appeal for information following a high-value theft in Inverness. A masked raider targeted a premises in the city, managing to escape with both cash and a selection of expensive jewellery items.

The incident, which took place during the afternoon, has prompted a major investigation. The suspect, described as wearing dark clothing and a mask to conceal their identity, entered the premises and quickly located the cash and jewellery before fleeing. Officers have been carrying out door-to-door enquiries and reviewing local CCTV footage in an effort to trace the suspect’s movements.

Community leaders have expressed concern over the incident, and police are urging residents to remain vigilant. Anyone who noticed any suspicious activity, individuals acting strangely, or unfamiliar vehicles parked in the vicinity around the time of the raid is asked to contact police immediately.
