Leeds Petrol Station Cordoned Off Following Morning Cash and Cigarette Raid

A BP petrol station located on York Road in Leeds was cordoned off by police following an early morning raid on November 6, 2025. Thieves targeted the station during the early hours, making off with an undisclosed sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes.

Following the incident, officers established a secure perimeter around the forecourt and shop area to allow forensic teams to examine the scene for evidence. The cordon caused minor disruptions to local commuters heading along the busy York Road corridor.
