Thieves Use Hammer to Raid Leeds Chinese Restaurant Mans Market and Steal Lucky Cat

LEEDS, West Yorkshire — The owners of Mans Market, a popular and highly-regarded Chinese restaurant in Leeds, have spoken of their devastation after burglars broke into the venue, causing significant damage and stealing their iconic lucky cat mascot.

Shocking surveillance footage captured the moment the thieves, armed with a hammer, shattered the restaurant's glass entrance to gain entry. Once inside, the perpetrators targeted the premises' decor and till areas, ultimately making off with the restaurant's signature lucky cat mascot, which has been a staple of the venue's welcoming atmosphere.

The management expressed deep sadness over the intrusion, which has not only resulted in financial loss and structural damage but has also affected team morale. West Yorkshire Police are currently reviewing the CCTV footage as part of their ongoing investigation and are asking anyone with information regarding the break-in or the location of the stolen mascot to come forward.
