Armed Robber Terrorises Leeds Shop Workers with Gun and Angle Grinder

Detectives in Leeds are investigating a highly unusual and terrifying armed robbery that occurred at a local retail outlet, leaving staff members deeply shaken.

According to police reports, a male suspect entered the store and brandished a firearm to threaten the staff. In addition to the gun, the suspect utilized an angle grinder to intimidate the employees and attempt to gain access to the store's secure cash deposits. Workers were held at gunpoint during the ordeal but did not sustain physical injuries.

The robber fled the scene with a quantity of cash before police units arrived. Armed response officers searched the vicinity, and investigations are ongoing as detectives analyze CCTV footage to identify the suspect.
