Police Investigate Overnight Burglary at Tesco Petrol Station in Milton Keynes

An investigation is underway following a burglary at a Tesco petrol station kiosk in Milton Keynes. The incident occurred during the early hours of Thursday morning, when suspects forced entry into the retail area of the fuel station, triggering security alarms and causing damage to the entrance doors.

Officers arrived at the scene shortly after the alarm was raised, but the suspects had already fled. Initial inventories suggest that a significant quantity of tobacco products, e-cigarettes, and some cash from the till drawers were stolen during the raid. The forecourt and shop remained closed for several hours the following morning to allow forensic collision and crime scene investigators to examine the site.

Local residents have reported seeing a dark-colored vehicle driving away from the service station at high speed shortly after the break-in occurred. Police are currently analyzing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from the petrol station and surrounding roads to trace the vehicle's registration and path of travel.

Thames Valley Police have urged anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity near the Tesco fuel station, or who has dashcam footage from the area between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM, to get in touch.
