Shocking Video Captures Masked Men Using Telehandler to Rip ATM from Milton Keynes Store

Police have released shocking security footage showing a group of masked men using a heavy-duty telehandler vehicle to rip an automatic teller machine (ATM) directly from the wall of a local convenience store in Milton Keynes. The brazen theft occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning, leaving the storefront destroyed.

The video shows the large telehandler, which is believed to have been stolen from a nearby construction or agricultural site, driving directly up to the shop front. Within minutes, the operator uses the vehicle's hydraulic arm to smash through the brickwork and glass, hook the ATM, and pull the heavy machine completely out of the building.

Once the ATM was dislodged, the masked suspects quickly transferred it onto the bed of a waiting getaway vehicle—suspected to be a flatbed truck or large van—before fleeing the area. The telehandler was abandoned at the scene, still running, with its engine idling amidst the rubble of the collapsed wall.

Thames Valley Police are investigating the commercial burglary and are urging anyone who saw suspicious heavy machinery movement in the Milton Keynes area overnight to contact them. Detectives believe this is the work of an organized criminal group specializing in plant machinery and ATM thefts.
