Police Release CCTV After Robber Threatens Newcastle Shop Staff With Machete

A terrifying robbery at a retail store in Newcastle has prompted Northumbria Police to release CCTV images of a suspect they are eager to locate. The incident, which left shop workers shaken, involved a man armed with a machete who entered the premises and issued threats to the staff on duty.

According to reports, the suspect brandished the large blade while demanding compliance from the store employees. Although no physical injuries were reported, the psychological impact on the staff members has been significant. Officers are treating the incident with the utmost seriousness and are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the individual shown in the security footage.
