Police Release CCTV Appeal After Burglar Targets Nottingham Home with Door Open for Ventilation

An opportunistic burglary has prompted a public warning from Nottinghamshire Police after a suspect entered a home through a door left open during a summer heatwave. The resident had left the door unlatched to allow fresh air to circulate and cool the house during the warm weather, creating an easy entry point for the criminal.

The intruder slipped inside unnoticed and removed valuables before departing. In response, officers have released CCTV images of a person they wish to speak with in connection with the crime. The police have urged anyone who recognizes the individual in the footage or who witnessed suspicious activity in the neighborhood to contact them immediately.
