Police Release CCTV After Sheffield Store Burgled by Man Climbing Over Counter
SHEFFIELD, South Yorkshire — South Yorkshire Police have launched a public appeal and released CCTV footage following a brazen commercial burglary at a local convenience store in Sheffield, where a suspect managed to steal two cash-filled tills.
The incident occurred on September 2, 2025. According to retail staff and police reports, an unidentified male entered the premises and waited for an opportunity when employees were distracted or away from the immediate till area. In a bold move captured on security cameras, the suspect climbed directly over the shop counter, accessed the checkout area, and forcibly detached two cash registers.
CCTV Investigation
