Masked Gang Armed with Machete and Baseball Bat Robs Stoke-on-Trent Shop

Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a terrifying armed robbery at a convenience store in Stoke-on-Trent on Sunday. A group of masked raiders entered the premises brandishing a dangerous assortment of weapons, including a machete, a baseball bat, and a baton.

The suspects demanded cash and stock, threatening the shopkeeper who was on duty at the time. After securing a quantity of cash and high-value items, the masked gang fled the scene. Fortunately, no physical injuries were reported, though the staff member was left extremely shaken by the ordeal.

Detective Inspector heading the investigation stated, "This was a highly distressing incident for the member of staff involved, who was simply doing their job. We are carrying out urgent inquiries in the area, including reviewing CCTV footage and conducting door-to-door inquiries. We urge anyone who saw anything suspicious or has dashcam footage from the area to come forward."
