Serial Burglar Hits Four Firms on Same Stoke-on-Trent Trading Estate in 78 Days

A local trading estate in Stoke-on-Trent has been the focus of a relentless burglary campaign, with a repeat offender targeting four different businesses within a short 78-day timeframe. The string of break-ins has caused significant disruption and financial loss to the affected companies.

Business owners on the estate have expressed mounting frustration over the recurring incidents, which have involved forced entry, property damage, and the theft of valuable tools, equipment, and cash. The pattern of behavior suggests the perpetrator was familiar with the layout and operating hours of the targeted premises.

Call for Enhanced Security Measures

In response to the crime spree, business owners are joining forces to demand improved security measures, including better street lighting, centralized CCTV monitoring, and secure perimeter fencing. Staffordshire Police have increased their presence on the estate, particularly during night shifts when the businesses are closed.

"We are treating this series of commercial burglaries with the utmost seriousness. Our neighborhood policing teams are working closely with business managers to provide crime prevention advice and conduct targeted patrols," said an officer involved in the case. Detectives are reviewing all available evidence to secure a conviction against the individual responsible for these repeated breaches of security.
