Bike-Riding Burglar Smashes Through Stoke-on-Trent Hair Salon

A Stoke-on-Trent hair salon is facing costly repairs after a bike-riding burglar smashed through the premises in the early hours of the morning. The offender, who was seen traveling on a bicycle, used a blunt object to break the front glass entrance, gaining access to the main salon area.

Once inside, the burglar targeted the till and took a selection of high-end styling tools, hair care products, and cash. The entire incident occurred in a matter of minutes before the suspect fled the scene on their bicycle, carrying the stolen goods in a rucksack.

The salon owner expressed anger and frustration at the crime: "We work so hard to build our business, and to have someone shatter our shopfront and steal our livelihood is incredibly disheartening. The damage to the door alone will cost a significant amount to repair."

Staffordshire Police have confirmed they are reviewing CCTV from neighboring properties as part of their ongoing inquiries. They have urged other local business owners to remain vigilant and ensure their security systems are fully operational.
