Police Issue CCTV Appeal Following Attempted Burglary at Wellingborough Greggs Drive-Thru

An investigation is underway after an attempted burglary at the Greggs drive-thru outlet in Wellingborough. Northamptonshire Police have released CCTV footage and images of individuals they wish to identify in connection with the break-in attempt, which occurred in October 2025.

The incident took place during the late evening or early hours of October 24, 2025. Intruders attempted to force their way into the popular bakery branch but were unsuccessful in gaining full entry or stealing stock. However, damage was caused to the exterior of the building, and the attempt has raised security concerns for local commercial units.

In February 2026, police renewed their appeal to the public, releasing updated CCTV details to identify the suspects. Officers are urging anyone who recognizes the clothing, build, or faces of the individuals in the footage, or who may have noticed suspicious vehicles parked near the drive-thru around the time of the incident, to step forward and contact the Northamptonshire force.
