Residents of the Hemmingwell estate in Wellingborough are being urged to remain vigilant after a residential property was targeted in a burglary where valuable jewellery was stolen. Northamptonshire Police have launched an investigation into the break-in and are appealing for witnesses.

The burglary occurred at a home on the estate, with intruders gaining entry and searching the property. The thieves selected high-value items, focusing on jewellery, before escaping. The incident has caused distress to the homeowners, who discovered their personal space violated and their sentimental possessions missing.

Police officers have been carrying out house-to-house inquiries in the Hemmingwell area and are reviewing local security footage. They are asking anyone who saw suspicious individuals or vehicles in the vicinity around the date of the break-in to report it immediately.
