Repeated Commercial Thefts Target Tea Shop in Albuquerque's Uptown District

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico — Authorities are investigating a series of commercial thefts at an Albuquerque Uptown tea shop that has been repeatedly targeted by thieves. According to the Albuquerque Police Department, the local business was hit twice in a single month, raising concerns among local business owners in the upscale retail district.

During both incidents, suspects managed to gain entry and target the establishment's cash reserves. Detectives are currently reviewing security footage and gathering evidence from the scene in an effort to identify the individuals responsible for the break-ins. Police have not yet released descriptions of the suspects but are asking anyone with information regarding these thefts to contact local authorities or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.

As commercial burglary rates remain a key focus for local law enforcement, business owners in the Uptown area are being urged to review their security protocols, ensure surveillance systems are functional, and minimize cash kept on-premises overnight.
