Man arrested for breaking into Buffalo Exchange in Albuquerque

An Albuquerque man has been taken into custody following an early morning break-in at the Buffalo Exchange clothing store, a popular resale shop located in the city. The incident, which triggered a prompt response from local law enforcement, highlights ongoing concerns among business owners regarding commercial burglaries in the area.

According to police reports, the suspect gained unauthorized entry into the retail establishment during the early hours of October 22, 2025. Officers responding to an active security alarm arrived at the scene to find signs of forced entry. A search of the premises quickly led to the discovery and apprehension of the suspect, who was still inside the building at the time.

"We are grateful for the rapid response of the Albuquerque Police Department, which prevented further damage or loss of inventory," a representative for the business community noted.
