Armed Woman Robs Grand Street Vape Shop in Amarillo

AMARILLO, Texas — Investigators with the Amarillo Police Department are searching for an armed woman who robbed a local vape shop on Grand Street on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Vape Shop Robbed at Gunpoint

According to police reports, the suspect entered the vape shop located on Grand Street in Amarillo and confronted the employee. The woman displayed a weapon and demanded cash and merchandise. The employee complied with the suspect's demands in order to ensure safety.

After securing the items and cash, the armed suspect fled the location. Officers arrived shortly after receiving the emergency call, set up a perimeter, and searched the surrounding area, but the suspect was not located.

Police Search for Female Suspect

Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage from the shop and neighboring businesses to obtain a description of the suspect and any potential getaway vehicle. The Amarillo Police Department requests that anyone who saw suspicious activity on Grand Street around the time of the robbery contact the department's criminal investigation division or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
