Multiple Commercial Smash-and-Grabs Rattle Local Businesses in Anaheim Hills

A string of midnight smash-and-grab burglaries has put local business owners in Anaheim Hills on high alert. Intruders targeted three separate establishments, including the popular community hub Sunbliss Cafe, shattering glass entryways to execute quick-entry thefts.

The perpetrators operated under the cover of night, using heavy tools or rocks to shatter the glass front doors of the targeted storefronts. Once inside, they went straight for cash registers and small, high-value items, fleeing before police officers could arrive on the scene. The owner of Sunbliss Cafe reported significant damage to their storefront, forcing a temporary disruption in their daily business operations while repairs were made.

The Anaheim Police Department is conducting a thorough investigation, retrieving surveillance footage from the targeted shopping plaza and neighboring intersections. Investigators believe the same crew is responsible for all three incidents due to the identical entry methods and timing. Local merchants are urged to secure their cash registers overnight and ensure their alarm systems and surveillance cameras are fully operational.
