Imposters Posing as ICE Agents Rob Latino Residents in Anaheim

ANAHEIM, CA — Two men are sought by the Anaheim Police Department after they allegedly impersonated Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in order to rob local Latino residents.

A Deceptive Scheme Targeting Vulnerable Communities

According to law enforcement officials, the suspects wore clothing and badges resembling federal agency uniforms to gain the trust or compliance of their victims. Once they established contact, the imposters used intimidation tactics and threats of deportation to demand cash and valuables from the residents. Authorities emphasized that legitimate federal agents do not conduct operations in this manner or demand immediate financial payments.

The Anaheim Police Department has released descriptions of the suspects and is actively working with community outreach groups to warn residents about the scam.
