Arlington Man Arrested After Attempted Columbia Forest Home Break-In

ARLINGTON, Va. — A local man has been arrested and charged following a late-night attempted residential break-in in Arlington's Columbia Forest neighborhood, according to local authorities.

The incident unfolded when homeowners in the quiet residential area of Columbia Forest were awakened by unusual sounds coming from their exterior doors. Realizing that someone was actively attempting to force their way into the residence, the occupants turned on the lights and called emergency services, prompting the suspect to flee the scene on foot.
