Armed Suspect Tackles Clerk During Atlanta Grocery Store Robbery

Atlanta authorities are requesting the public's assistance in identifying an armed suspect who targeted a local grocery store, physically tackling a store clerk during a robbery. The incident occurred on December 10, 2024, and has raised safety concerns among local business owners.

According to investigators with the Atlanta Police Department, the suspect entered the grocery establishment brandishing a firearm. In a physical confrontation caught on the store's security cameras, the armed individual approached the counter and tackled the clerk to the floor before demanding cash from the register. The suspect then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
