Surveillance Video Captures Suspect Stealing Pizza, Assaulting Worker at Atlanta Restaurant

ATLANTA, GA — The Atlanta Police Department is requesting public assistance in identifying a suspect caught on surveillance video during an incident at a local eatery. The security footage shows a man entering the restaurant, grabbing a pizza, and subsequently pushing a worker who attempted to intervene.

Incident Caught on Camera

According to authorities, the incident occurred during regular business hours when the suspect approached the counter area. Without paying, the individual grabbed a freshly prepared pizza. When a restaurant employee confronted the suspect, the situation quickly escalated. The surveillance footage captures the suspect shoving the worker backward before fleeing the scene with the stolen food.

Police Investigation

Investigators are currently reviewing the restaurant's security logs and high-definition video footage in hopes of identifying the assailant. Fortunately, the employee did not sustain serious injuries during the physical altercation.
