Police Search for Suspect Accused of Stealing Over $7,000 from Valero Gas Station on Empire Boulevard

The Atlanta Police Department is requesting assistance from the public to identify a suspect involved in a high-value theft from a local gas station. The incident occurred on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the Valero gas station located at 3556 Empire Boulevard SW in Atlanta, Georgia.

According to investigators, the burglary took place at approximately 6:00 p.m. Surveillance footage shows a male suspect entering the business and making his way directly into the establishment's storage area. Once inside the restricted area, the suspect managed to locate and steal approximately $7,200 in cash.

After securing the stolen funds, the suspect exited the building and fled the scene in a dark-colored pickup truck. Atlanta Police have released description details in hopes that someone can recognize the individual. Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in the case.
