Atlanta Police Search for Shoplifter Who Stole Employee's Cell Phone at Piedmont Avenue Vape Shop

Atlanta Police are asking for assistance in identifying a man wanted in connection with a theft at a local vape store in Midtown Atlanta. The incident took place on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the Vapor Hub shop located at 590 Piedmont Avenue.

According to police reports, the suspect entered the store pretending to browse. Surveillance footage inside the store captured the moment the suspect waited for the employee to turn their back to assist him. While the employee was distracted, the suspect reached over the counter, snatched the employee's personal cell phone, and quickly slipped it into his pocket before exiting the shop.

The Atlanta Police Department has shared photos and video clips of the suspect on social media platforms under #crimewatchatlanta to help gather tips from the community. Crime Stoppers Atlanta is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for any information that helps identify and locate the suspect.
