Police Seek Suspects After Pedestrian Struck with Gun and Robbed in Southeast Atlanta

ATLANTA, GA — The Atlanta Police Department has released video footage of a violent armed robbery on Lakewood Terrace SE in hopes that the public can help identify the two suspects involved. The suspects assaulted a pedestrian before stealing their belongings and fleeing in a getaway vehicle.

The incident occurred on March 26, 2026, along Lakewood Terrace SE in Southeast Atlanta. According to investigators, the victim was walking down the street when they were approached by two unidentified male suspects. The encounter escalated quickly when the suspects physically struck the pedestrian with a firearm and demanded their property.

After wrestling a bookbag away from the injured victim, the two suspects ran to a waiting white sedan. Surveillance footage captured the suspects getting into the car and speeding away from the scene.
