Atlanta Police Investigate Christmas Eve Theft at Sporting Goods Store

ATLANTA, GA — Atlanta police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying individuals involved in a commercial theft at a local sporting goods retailer on Christmas Eve.

The incident occurred on December 24, when suspects entered the sporting goods store and stole approximately $500 worth of activewear and clothing items. Surveillance cameras recorded the suspects handling and concealing the apparel before walking out of the retail establishment without making any attempt to pay.

Holiday Retail Theft Investigation

Retailers across the city reported increased security measures during the holiday season, but opportunistic shoplifting remains a persistent challenge. The APD is currently examining the surveillance footage to identify the suspects and determine if they have been involved in other retail theft operations in the area.
