Richmond County Investigators Search for Two Suspects in Convenience Store Armed Robbery

AUGUSTA, Ga. โ€” The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is seeking information on the identities of two individuals involved in a convenience store armed robbery on Sunday, June 22, 2025. The incident occurred in the afternoon, prompting a rapid dispatch of sheriff's deputies to the scene.

Investigators report that the two suspects entered the store, brandished a firearm at the clerk, and demanded cash from the register. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspects fled the store on foot. Surveillance footage captured images of both suspects, which investigators are currently analyzing to generate leads.

Local authorities have released descriptions of the individuals and are encouraging anyone who was in the area or who recognizes the suspects to contact the Richmond County Sheriff's Office. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to assist in the investigation. No store employees or customers were injured during the robbery.
