Aurora Police Respond to Midday Residential Burglary, Secure Neighborhood Scene

The Aurora Police Department launched an active investigation on Monday afternoon following reports of an intruder at a residence in a local neighborhood. Officers quickly responded to the scene to secure the property and verify the safety of the occupants.

According to initial police reports, a homeowner contacted emergency dispatchers to report an unknown individual trespasser who had gained unauthorized entry into their property.
