Four Arrested in West Campus Burglary That Left Victim Hospitalized

AUSTIN, Texas โ€” Four individuals have been arrested and charged after a burglary in the West Campus neighborhood near the University of Texas. The incident escalated into violence, resulting in one victim being transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

According to the Austin Police Department, officers responded to a disturbance call at a residential address in West Campus. Upon arrival, police discovered that a group had forced entry into the residence, assaulted an occupant, and ransacked the property. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the physical altercation.

Thanks to a prompt description provided by witnesses, officers located and arrested four suspects in the immediate vicinity shortly after the crime occurred. They face multiple felony charges, including burglary of a habitation and aggravated assault. Police are continuing to investigate the motives behind the targeted incident.
