Seven Arrested in Connection with Violent Austin Crime Spree

AUSTIN, Texas — A multi-agency operation has resulted in the arrest of seven individuals linked to a violent crime spree that impacted several communities across the Austin metropolitan area. The suspects are accused of conducting coordinated carjackings and burglaries over several days.

Law enforcement officials reported that the crime spree involved armed carjackings where victims were forced out of their vehicles at gunpoint.
