Police Arrest Suspect After Northeast Austin Streetlight Copper Theft

AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department has apprehended a suspect caught stealing copper wiring from streetlights in the northeast section of the city. The arrest followed reports of vandalism and subsequent dark stretches of road caused by damaged infrastructure.
