Bakersfield Police Investigate Storage Unit Burglary on Buck Owens Boulevard; Three Suspects Sought

BAKERSFIELD, CA — The Bakersfield Police Department is actively investigating a commercial burglary that took place at a storage unit facility on Buck Owens Boulevard. Detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify three suspects who were caught on security cameras during the incident.

The crime occurred on February 19, 2026, when three individuals gained unauthorized access to the secured storage facility. Once inside, the suspects targeted multiple storage units, breaking locks and stealing personal property, tools, and electronics. The incident was later reported to police after facility staff and tenants discovered the damaged units.
