Bakersfield Police Search for Two Men Who Robbed Gas Station, Punched Clerk on Panama Lane

BAKERSFIELD, California โ€” Investigators with the Bakersfield Police Department are searching for two men who allegedly robbed a local gas station and assaulted a store clerk on Panama Lane. The violent encounter has prompted law enforcement to seek the community's assistance in identifying the suspects.

According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the incident occurred at a service station located along the busy Panama Lane corridor. The two suspects entered the business and confronted the clerk on duty. During the course of the robbery, the suspects used physical force, punching the clerk before stealing cash and other items from the store. The clerk suffered minor injuries from the assault.

Following the incident, detectives retrieved security footage from the store's surveillance system. The BPD has released images of the suspects, hoping that members of the public can help identify them.
