Bakersfield Police Search for Person of Interest in Northwest Residential Burglary

BAKERSFIELD, California — The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community's assistance in identifying a person of interest in connection with a residential burglary in Northwest Bakersfield.

The burglary occurred at a residence in the northwest sector of the city on December 8, 2025. According to investigators, the home was unlawfully entered, and personal property was stolen. During the initial investigation, officers obtained images of a person of interest who was observed in the immediate vicinity around the time the crime occurred.

While the individual has not been formally charged, police would like to speak with them regarding their presence in the neighborhood.
