Police Seek Public Help to Identify Suspect in Stine Road Barber Shop Break-In

BAKERSFIELD, CA — Authorities in Bakersfield are asking for help from the community to identify a suspect responsible for a commercial burglary at a local barber shop on Stine Road.

The break-in occurred during the early morning hours when the business was closed. According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the suspect forced entry through the storefront, shattering glass panels to gain access to the interior. Once inside, the individual ransacked the workstations, taking cash from the register as well as high-end barbering equipment, clippers, and retail products.

Owners and staff expressed deep frustration over the incident, noting the significant financial impact of both the stolen property and the damage to the storefront. "It's not just the money; it's our livelihood and the security of our workspace," one stylist commented. Police have gathered forensic evidence from the scene and are currently reviewing security video captured by neighboring businesses along Stine Road.

The suspect is believed to be a lone male, operating under the cover of darkness.
