Bakersfield Police Seek Suspect in Ming Avenue Ross Store Backroom Break-In

BAKERSFIELD, CA — The Bakersfield Police Department is actively seeking the public's assistance in identifying a male suspect wanted in connection with a commercial burglary and trespass incident at a retail store on Ming Avenue.

According to police reports, the suspect gained unauthorized entry into the secure backroom storage and employee-only area of the Ross Dress for Less store, located in the prominent shopping center along Ming Avenue. The incident took place during business hours, raising concerns regarding the ease with which the individual bypassed public barriers to access restricted sections of the property.

Store employees reported noticing a suspicious individual in the rear corridor of the facility where inventory is kept and sorted. Upon being spotted, the suspect exited the area and fled the premises before patrol officers arrived on the scene.
