Police Search for Two Suspects in Attempted Commercial Burglary on Calloway Drive

BAKERSFIELD, California — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for public assistance to locate two individuals accused of attempting a commercial burglary at a local business on Calloway Drive.

The attempted break-in occurred on February 18, 2026, at a commercial establishment situated along the busy Calloway Drive corridor in Northwest Bakersfield. Police reports indicate that the two suspects attempted to force entry into the premises but were unsuccessful in breaching the security measures, ultimately fleeing the location before officers arrived.

Surveillance systems captured images of both individuals, and detectives are actively working to identify them. Security patrols have been temporarily increased in the surrounding commercial plazas.
