BRPD Investigates Attempted Smash-and-Grab Break-In at Baton Rouge Lululemon Store

BATON ROUGE, LA — Local law enforcement officials are seeking information from the public following an attempted break-in at a high-end retail outlet in Baton Rouge. The Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) has released surveillance video in hopes of identifying the suspects involved in the incident targeting the Lululemon athletica store.

According to security feeds and police reports, the incident occurred during the early morning hours of Sunday. Surveillance footage captured several masked individuals approaching the storefront and attempting to breach the glass doors. Despite repeated efforts to shatter the glass, the security reinforcement held, preventing the perpetrators from gaining access to the interior.

Store owners and staff discovered the damage to the entrance the following morning. BRPD property crime detectives were dispatched to gather forensic evidence and review the high-definition security footage. The attempted smash-and-grab has highlighted the growing concern among local business owners regarding overnight commercial burglaries.
