Three Suspects Apprehended in Houston Following Beaumont ATM Worker Robbery

BEAUMONT, Texas — Three suspects are in custody in Houston following a coordinated armed robbery targeting an ATM maintenance technician in Beaumont. The swift arrests were the result of close collaboration between the Beaumont Police Department and Houston law enforcement agencies.

The incident unfolded when the maintenance worker, who was servicing an ATM in Beaumont, was approached by armed individuals. The suspects demanded money and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash in a waiting vehicle.

Beaumont police immediately broadcasted a description of the suspect vehicle to regional law enforcement partners. A short time later, officers with the Houston Police Department spotted the vehicle traveling on a major highway towards Houston.

Following a brief pursuit, law enforcement successfully stopped the vehicle and took all three occupants into custody without further incident. The stolen funds and weapons were recovered from the vehicle. The suspects face multiple felony charges, including aggravated robbery, and are currently being held in custody awaiting extradition back to Jefferson County.
