Masked Gang Members Robbed Beaumont ATM Technicians of $300,000, Feds Say

BEAUMONT, Texas — A federal investigation has exposed a major heist in Beaumont where masked gang members reportedly robbed ATM technicians of $300,000. Details of the incident were made public following federal indictments targeting the criminal organization responsible for the armed robbery.

According to federal authorities, the technicians were servicing an automated teller machine when they were ambushed by several masked individuals. Brandishing firearms, the suspects forced the technicians to comply before removing cassettes loaded with cash from the machine.

The suspects then fled the scene in a getaway vehicle that was later found abandoned. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), along with local police departments, tracked the suspects to a wider gang network operating across Southeast Texas. Several members have since been taken into federal custody and face severe prison sentences if convicted of conspiracy and armed robbery charges.
